Over four full length solo shows, national tours, festival appearances, special guest slots and support sets, Kevin has forged ahead to become one of the most singular voices emerging from the fertile Scottish spoken word scene.
Taking inspiration from the idiosyncrasies of modern society, his poetry is inflected through the prism of another great influence on his work - the city, and people, of Glasgow.
Kevin has performed all over the country, taking in massive festivals and provincial towns, and has built a fanbase who connect with his confessional tone and impassioned delivery.
He has written and performed four full length pieces - Notes From A Quarter-Life Crisis, The Man Who Loved Beer, New and Selected Breakdowns (all of which had extended runs at the Edinburgh Fringe) and Gigantic Lying Mouth which is in production for a future national tour.
Kevin is the curator and co-host of spoken word night Sonnet Youth and presenter of Rhyming Optional, a dedicated spoken word podcast. He is also a regular contributor to BBC's online platform The Social.
You can see Kevin in action on his Youtube channel which contains live performances from the Scottish National Slam, Inn Deep, Notes From A Quarter-Life Crisis and Glastonbury. An archive of writing and audio recordings is available to view on Tumblr.
